PROMISE AUDIT
Promises are recorded. Delivery must be demonstrated.
Each record separates the original promise from evidence of implementation. Status can change as new primary-source material appears. Where the evidence is incomplete, the record remains tracking rather than being forced into pass or fail.
PTA repeal reaches Parliament — but the replacement is now the test
The government presented the Protection of the State from Terrorism Bill on 6 October. It proposes repealing the PTA. The accountability question is no longer simply whether the old Act is repealed, but whether its replacement meets the civil-rights commitment that accompanied the promise.

Cabinet structure and subsequent appointments are checked against official government records. We do not mark this delivered until the current appointment record has been verified end-to-end.
Abolish the executive presidential system and move to a non-executive presidency under a new constitutional settlement.

This requires constitutional change. We track published draft proposals, parliamentary action and any referendum process — not speeches alone.

We track legislation, administrative rules and budget measures for evidence of implementation or reversal.
Reform the Online Safety Act.

The government told the UN Human Rights Council in September 2026 that amendments were being finalised following stakeholder discussions. A separate repeal bill introduced by an opposition MP remains part of the parliamentary record. Our case file separates those processes.
Abolish oppressive legislation including the Prevention of Terrorism Act while protecting civil rights.
Original source: NPP 2024 election commitment
On 6 October 2026 the government presented the Protection of the State from Terrorism Bill to Parliament. The bill would repeal the PTA, but rights groups argue the replacement retains powers inconsistent with the original rights commitment. This record therefore remains unresolved, not “delivered”.
Expedite investigations into the Easter Sunday attacks and pursue legal accountability.

We score this only from attributable investigative, prosecutorial, court and official commission records. Allegations are not counted as findings.
A living audit, not a campaign scorecard
We expand this record where a clear, attributable promise and measurable test exist. Government and opposition claims are tested against the same standard. Corrections and later developments remain attached to the record.
